An April Wedding at Moss Mountain Farm

Back in March I wrote a blog about our tour of P. Allen Smith's Moss Mountain Farm in Roland, AR.  At that time it was barely spring and the only the daffodils were in bloom.  As we toured the property I could only imagine how beautiful the grounds would look in only a few weeks when the weather warmed up and the thousands of flowers would be in bloom!  

Lucky for me my imagination became reality when we were hired to set up the ceremony chairs and reception furniture for Josh & Audra's wedding at the end of April!  Audra had a very specific idea of how she wanted her wedding and reception to look and the outcome was stunning!  I've posted some great photos of our furniture below, but you can view the entire wedding album by clicking on the Facebook Album link below.

An Afternoon at Moss Mountain Farm

A few weeks ago I received an invitation from P. Allen Smith's Moss Mountain Farm to attend a Vendor Open House.  Immediately, I was excited because this would be my first time to visit this location I've heard so much about!  We have a wedding booked at the farm in late April so this would be a great opportunity to see where our furniture will be set up.  My co-worker Amanda and I arrived at the farm just after the rain stopped, thankfully!  We were given a tour of the property by James Sumpter and Mandy Shoptaw, who both work very closely with the guests who host events at the farm.  It is such an incredible location, and I was imagining how beautiful it would be in just a few weeks when all of the spring flowers blossom!

It was a wonderful afternoon and a nice break from the office!  Thank you so much to Mandy and James, and everyone at P. Allen Smith's Moss Mountain Farm for having us out to visit!

New Year, New Website, New Blog, New Showroom!

Happy New Year, and welcome to the brand new Hank’s Event Rentals website!  We are so excited for this website to launch, and hope you will find it to be very informative and user friendly.   We have been working with Emily Reeves Dean of Reader Writer Seeker to help make our vision come to life, and are thrilled with the outcome!

Our entire rental inventory is showcased here by category with photos and dimensions to help make planning your event as easy as possible.  We also have a ‘Shopping List’ that you can submit to us with a request for a quote, or just print it off and keep for your own notes.  Now you can sit at home in your comfy clothes and plan your wedding/fundraiser/corporate event or party!  We will also be posting blogs on the website on a regular basis with photos of events, trends, and ideas!

To go along with our new website we have recently updated our showrooms!  We currently have 2 locations for you, our customers, to view the rental product in person:  our Central Arkansas showroom (5708 Warden Road, Sherwood).

And the Northwest Arkansas showroom inside of the Hank’s Furniture store (4308 Pleasant Crossing Blvd, Rogers).

If you’re in the Central Arkansas area, the showroom is open for appointments only.  Just contact me, Charla Boatright, at 501-542-1000 x 353 or you can email me at charla@hanksfurniture.com.  If you’re in the Northwest, you can stop by the store anytime they are open to see the rental product, Monday-Saturday 10am-8pm and Sunday 12pm-6pm.

We are looking forward to meeting many more new customers in 2016 as well as continuing relationships with those that helped us make our first year in the rental business a great success!
